MSL in Privacy, Data Security, and Technology Law

MSL candidates in Privacy, Data Security, and Technology (PDT) Law must complete 24 credit hours of instruction, including:
- 3 credit hours of Introduction to US Law and Legal Writing for MSL Students (6950)
- 3 credit hours of Information Privacy Law (6486)
- 3 credit hours of Cybersecurity Law and Technology (6890) or, with the permission of the program director, an alternative core cybersecurity law class
- At least 9 credit hours from among the list of Privacy, Data Security, and Technology Law electives.
Students may complete the degree online or in a hybrid format consisting of some in-person and some online classes. Note that certain classes are only available in one format (i.e., online only or in-person only), and class format may vary by semester.
